Wedding Photos

TONS of wedding photos are now on Dropbox at the link below! Huge, gargantuan thanks to Brenda Friend for taking them, touching a bunch of them up, and bringing them down to Charlotte for us!
We would prefer that you avoid sharing to Facebook, as Facebook can do just about anything it wants to with a photo posted to its site. (See comparisons of Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Dropbox at the bottom of this article for more info.)

Wedding photos on Dropbox
  • You may want to bookmark this page AND the Dropbox link above so you can easily find it again (neither one is public)
  • The wedding photos will be at the bottom of the page
  • Click on any of the folders
  • Note: DON'T try to download this entire mega-folder with the blue download button... you'll need to go into each sub-folder and download them separately

From the folder view:

Here you'll see square thumbnails of all the photos in the folder
  • You'll be in thumbnail view by default
  • Click on one of the photos to enlarge to full screen
  • Click the blue Download button to download this folder of photos as a .zip file
  • Once you've downloaded a .zip file to your computer, you'll need to unzip (or extract) it to see the photos
  • Hit the back button of your browser if you want to return to the giant wedding photos folder

From the photo view:

If you've clicked one of the photos in the folder, the photo will now be fullscreen
  • Click the ... at the bottom right of the picture to download it individually
  • Click the x at the top right of the photo to go back to folder view
  • Use your arrow keys or the arrows at the bottom of the photo to go through all the photos in this folder as a slideshow

Notes

These are EVERYBODY'S photos from a variety of cameras and smartphones.

Aunt Bren fixed some of them up, and I tried to contrast/color others of them, but we didn't get to all of them! You may want to download them and do some doctoring yourself. (Try Picasa if you don't have a good photo editor already. It's not that user friendly, but it's free. And you'll probably want to disable the Google+ backup/sharing features.)

If you plan to print them, Wal-Mart and Walgreens are pretty cheap. It's a good idea to crop photos to the correct dimensions yourself (4x6, 5x7, etc.) before uploading them to walmart.com or walgreens.com, however.
